Q1: Could ou explain the OPEN ticket tooling and how the OPN1 token plas a part in issuing tickets?
Since 2016, we have developed a ticketing infrastructure that allows artists, venues and ticketing companies to offer a superior ticketing experience to their attendees. This comes down to a ver eas and safe purchasing process, as well as various Web3 benefits, which are integrated into our ticketing process seamlessl.
Over the last 8 ears, our tooling has been used to issue over 6 million tickets, with not a single one being scalped or used in fraud.
The OPN1 token (or $OPN on dexes) is needed b anone who uses our infrastructure to issue their tickets. Kind of like a credit in an arcade machine.
Q2: Ticketing serves a lot of non-crpto people. How do ou deal with that and what is our vision of bringing crpto to mainstream users?
This is a ver important topic! Crpto can definitel be a bubble, so it's ver valuable to do a lot of market research to figure out how to find product market fit in the 'real world'. We spent a lot of time talking to artists and attendees, testing our features and product flows, to make sure that we offered a product experience that actuall solved problems and made peoples' lives easier.
We learned that if ou want to serve 20,000 people in a stadium show, ou need to keep things ver simple and avoid 'forcing' innovation on the average fan. Instead, we make sure that attendees have a great time and artists experience a better ticketing solution. Onl once we have improved their lives do we emphasie that this is done with various Web3 features.
Q3: What is the role of NFTs and DeFi in our product?
Ever ticket we issue is an NFT, meaning a fan will have an onchain collectible from the event the attended for the rest of their life! Event organiers can incentivie fans to attend future events b offering them discounts or other valuable experiences.
Also, these NFT's can have visuals from the event itself, like highlights from a basketball game, for example. Making memories last forever.
On the DeFi side, we have a feature that allows independent artists to fund their own events, using their NFT tickets collateral for an onchain 'crowdfunding' of sorts.
Q4: What do ou have planned for the upcoming period?
1.Too much to mention reall, but I'll do m best. 2.Bigger ticket deals 3.Implementation of our multi-chain strateg 4.Event financing launch 5.Potential L3 exploration
And much more. You can see our recent roadmap blog that goes into these topics a little more
Q5: How can people get involved with the project?
Join our DAO! We have a lot of cool news and initiatives coming up, so we would love to have ou on board.
